It comes down to the size of the vehicle, the condition of the paint and how much coverage you want. That's why every car is quoted after we've seen it, not off a menu. We'll talk it through on the call and send it to you in writing.
No, and anyone promising that is overselling it. Film is a thick layer that absorbs the vast majority of what the road throws at it. A hard enough hit can still mark the film, which is a far better outcome than marking your paint, and the film can be replaced.
Ask exactly what's going on the car. Dealer packages are often a spray-on product with no film at all. Film is a physical layer fitted panel by panel, and it's the only thing that actually stops a stone.
